“Mesmerizing slow motion”

In this huge permanent kinetic light art work in the centre of Eindhoven (NL), rotation transforms into translation and vice versa. The coloured light and movements create new characters; a new type of visual language, which has an alienating as well as a connecting factor. The miraculous, repetitive movement challenges the spectator into constantly discovering new structures.

During the course of 2017 the public may operate the installation interactively using a control panel; “Making it possible for the Eindhovenaar to draw his own characters.”

Operational hours: Daily from 8:00h until 23:00h.
